Washing your face more than twice a day or too roughly can be counterproductive as it can strip your face of necessary oils and cause it to dry out.
The skin benefits of regular exercise are multi-faceted. As you exercise, your sweat will help to clear your pores and rid your body of the dead skin cells trapped within them. Calming exercises, like yoga, will reduce stress levels. Stress causes your body to increase oil production, which leads to more breakouts. Control the stress and you can start to control the acne. While working out, try wearing loose-fitting, cotton clothing. Synthetic fibers and tight clothing or gear can cause you to break out. While some gear, like a helmet, is often necessary, do not wear it when you aren’t using it.
